Tical 0: The Prequel is the third album released by rapper Method Man. Although reaching #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and attaining a gold certification from RIAA, it was not as successful as Method Man’s prior albums. It only had one charting single, “What’s Happenin’” featuring Busta Rhymes, and two singles that didn’t get any push from Def Jam in “The Show” and “Rodeo”. Its lack of success is odd being that it featured production from the likes of Sean “Puffy” Combs and Rockwilder as well as guest appearances from Missy Elliott, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris and other established artists.
