Kanye Has New Album Release Date

September 26, 2008

The much-anticipated rematch of hip hop stars Kanye West and 50 Cent on who will have a better opening week of sales for their new albums will not be happening after all. Kanye West has moved the release of his new album “808 and Heartbreak” to an earlier date compared to its original December release date.

Formerly, both Kanye’s “808 and Heartbreak” and 50’s “Before I Self Destruct” albums were slated for release in December, triggering talks about a similar incident that happened when West’s “Graduation” album bested 50 Cent’s “Curtis”.

Kanye West is still undecided on the exact day for the release of his album, but is certain that it will happen in the month of November. West stated that he has accomplished the last parts necessary for completion of the album and would like his fans to be able to hear it as soon as possible.

50 Cent’s “Before I Self Destruct” album on the other hand, will hit stores on December 9, its announced release date.
