Cadillac Records Coming In December

“Cadillac Records”, one of the most anticipated movies of the year, will be hitting theaters on December 5 according to producers. The much-awaited flick features superstar singer Beyoncé Knowles alongside hip hop progenitor and Black Star alum Mos Def.

The movie tells the story of Chess Records, the legendary 1950s Chicago record label that had in its roster some of the most prolific artists in history. Beyoncé will be playing the role of visionary singer Etta James, while Mos Def will play the character of Chuck Berry.

Other stars in the movie include Entourage’s Emmanuelle Chriqui, comedian Cedric the Entertainer, Gabrielle Union, and Tammy Blanchard among others.

The “Cadillac Records” soundtrack will be available in the market on December 2.
